Public Papers of the Presidents

The Public Papers of the Presidents is an edited yearly cumulation of the daily/weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents.
It has been published from the Hoover administration on, except for Franklin Roosevelt's administration. (1929 to 1932, 1945 -     )

During the Carter and Reagan administrations the text of proclamations and executive orders is included in the Public Papers. Volumes for the other administrations have tables which give the Federal Register page number where the text of proclamations & executive orders can be found.
