The TRC’s children’s literature, textbooks, and activity books are charged out at the TRC information desk, the Library’s Circulation Desk on the 1st floor, north or via self checkout machines.

Searching for TRC Materials

  • From the Henry Madden Library page, at select Advanced Search.
  • From the Library Catalog page, click on the box that contains “Entire Collection” and select Teacher Resource Center.
  • Click search box (located to the right of “Any Field”) and type search terms (e.g., nutrition, civil war, recycling, etc.).
  • Select Submit and a list of items located in the TRC that contain some information on your topic will be displayed.

How long can you borrow TRC Materials?

The circulation period is 4 weeks. You will be asked to provide valid faculty/student/staff identification or a Community Borrower’s card.  Curriculum guides, periodicals, reference materials, and book length bibliographies may only be used within the Library.

I'm a public school teacher, do I get access to the TRC materials?

Sure! Read the Free Borrowers Cards for Public School Teachers guidelines and contact the TRC about getting a card.

Summer 2012 Access

Most TRC materials including children’s literature, textbooks, and activity books, are available all hours the main library is open.
