We are often warned that using Google for research can be risky. While it's true that there's a lot on the web that is not useful for research, Google has created several tools that can help researchers access, evaluate and share information in new and exciting ways. This workshop will provide practical tips for advanced searching in Google and cover the basics of Google Scholar, Google Books, using collaborative tools such as Google Docs and more.
