Request items for pickup

Need to check out books, DVDs, or other items? The library and it's collections are open as normal, so feel free to browse items on the shelves! You can, however, still request books and media for pickup.

You can request books, DVDs, and other items in the library through OneSearch and we'll get them ready for you to pick up. You'll get an email when they are ready, then you can pick them up at the library or at the library lockers near the University Center. Here's how it works:

Place requests through OneSearch

1. Search for items in OneSearch as usual, and select a book or other item you want to check out.
2. Choose the button that says "Sign in for more options."
   
    
3. Choose "Fresno State Users" to log in.
   
    
4. Then choose the "Request" link.
   
    
5. You'll see a menu that allows you to choose your pickup location.
   
    
6. Choose "Fresno State Main" to pick items up at the library, or "Lockers" to pick up items at the lockers near the University Center.
   
    
7. Then choose "Send Request."
   
    
8. Repeat these steps to request additional items. You will only have to log on once.

Wait for an email

Library staff will retrieve the items you requested and will send you an email when they are ready.

Pick up your items

Come get your items!

• If you are picking them up at the library, ask for your items at the circulation desk. Remember to bring your Fresno State ID!
• If you are retrieving items from the lockers, see the instructions on this page.

When you are finished with the items, return them inside the library or use the book drop near the front doors of the library.

CSU+ and Interlibrary Loan services are operating normally. Items can be requested as usual and picked up at the library.

Items borrowed through CSU+ or ILL can be returned inside the library or in the book drop near the front doors of the library.

Tech Lending items can be reserved through the library website and be picked up at the desk.

Return Tech Lending items at the desk anytime the library is open.
