Wall Street Journal

The Fresno State Library and The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) have partnered to provide a school-sponsored WSJ subscription to all students, faculty and staff. Subscribers will have full digital access to WSJ content on desktop, tablet, mobile, the WSJ app, and WSJ podcasts.

Instructions to activate your account:

1. Go to WSJ.com/FresnoState to register. Existing WSJ subscribers, please see Switching to a School-Sponsored Subscription. 
2. The Fresno State Campus Login Services Page will appear. Login with your Fresno State Username and Password. 
3. New users will be prompted to create an account that can be used directly at WSJ.com or the WSJ app. 
4. A drop-down menu will appear. Choose your role: student, staff, or professor.
   1. Students - enter your graduation date when you register. You will not need to renew your account annually. 
   2. Employees - You will need to renew your account annually. See Employees: Renew Your Subscription for instructions. 
5. Follow the step-by-step instructions to create a new account.
6. You will receive a welcome email with your activation details.  

You can now access the Wall Street Journal via WSJ.com/FresnoState or you can use your newly created account directly at WSJ.com or the WSJ app. You can also review the WSJ's full Privacy Notice on their webpage. 

Employees will be prompted to renew on an annual basis. 

1. You will be notified to renew by email. Follow the instructions to renew.
2. You may be asked to use your schools WSJ partnership page to renew. Our school's WSJ partnership page is WSJ.com/FresnoState.

Website Troubleshooting instructions:

1. Clear your WSJ cookies only using www.wsj.com/delete_cookies
2. Log out from your account by entering www.wsj.com/logout
3. Close the browser and open a new browser window.

App troubleshooting instructions:

1. Click on "Sign in" at the bottom and use the credentials you created to try again. 
2. If that doesn't work, completely close out the app and try again.
3. If necessary, completely reinstall the app and sign in again.

Currently a Wall Street Journal subscriber?

• If you have a current subscription to The Wall Street Journal and would like to convert it to a Fresno State sponsored WSJ subscription, you will need to call 1-800-JOURNAL to cancel your current subscription. Let WSJ customer service know that you want to switch to a school sponsored WSJ subscription. 

Need access to past content?

• Access to past content on WSJ.com extends to the past four years. 
• Content older than four years can be found at Wall Street Journal (Eastern Ed).
