Viticulture and Enology Research Guide

The V.E. Petrucci Library consists of historic and contemporary periodicals, books, conference proceedings, pamphlets and brochures, research reports, and theses.  These cover the topics of viticulture and enology, as well as general agriculture, ag business and marketing, soil science, molecular and micro-biology, chemistry, pest management, and sustainable and organic farming.

The collection is open to students, staff, and faculty of California State University, Fresno, industry, and the general public for free (for more information on how to obtain a community borrower's card, see here).

• To get to the Advanced Search page from the library homepage, click on Advanced Search on the right of the search bar.
• Select V.E. Petrucci Library under Location to limit your search returns.

CSU+

If you can’t find your item at Fresno State, expand your search to all CSU libraries with CSU+ Resource Sharing. If your item is available at another CSU library, you can request it and have it sent to Fresno State (requests usually take 2-5 business days to arrive).  

• When you search the library catalog, you will find the CSU+ link on the left side of the page.  Click it to see if there are other libraries that have what you may need.  If it is available at other participating CSU+ libraries, click the Request button and completed the requested information.
•  Otherwise, you can use interlibrary loan to request items not available at Fresno State or other CSU libraries.

InterLibrary Loan

When an item is unavailable from the library and CSU+, you can also request items with ILLiad.  You will need to enter in your Fresno State email username and password before submitting your request.
