ICPSR

By creating a MyData account, you can:

• Download data and use online analysis tools
• Download data available only to ICPSR members
• Generate utilization reports and download statistics
• Update your account profile and settings
• Keep track of ICPSR specific training

Full access to ICPSR is limited to current students, faculty and staff at Fresno State. 

To access and download datasets and associated study documentation, you will need to create an ICPSR account from a computer on the campus network.  This can be on a computer in a campus lab, connected to the campus wifi, or with campus VPN active.

• Go to ICPSR (link below) and click the "Create an Account" link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
• Create an account using your Fresno State email.
• Once you have created the account from a computer on the campus network, you will be able to login from any computer to access your account and the datasets available from ICPSR.
• To keep your account valid, ICPSR recommends logging in with a computer on the Fresno State network every six months.
• Once logged in, clicking on your name (top right corner) will allow you to access your MyData Dashboard and associated features. 
   

Are you tired of having to memorize multiple passwords?  Link your ICPSR account with your ORCiD account to allow easier login.  

While you can log in using only ORCiD, you’ll want to create an ICPSR MyData account to download data only available through the Fresno State ICPSR membership. However, a bonus for linking your MyData account with ORCiD is you can sign into ORCiD using Fresno State institutional authenticated login.

To log into ICPSR using your linked ORCiD Account

• Click ORCiD on the login page.
• On the ORCiD sign in page, click “Access through your institution”
• Find California State University, Fresno using the search box or suggested selection.
• It will redirect to the Campus Login Services page.  If not already signed into Campus Login Services in the browser, sign into your Fresno State account 
• You should be redirected back to the ICPSR, and click on “ORCiD” again.
