What if the thesis I need isn't in full text?

Sometimes items in the Dissertations and Theses Full Text database will not be available full text.  First, try searching the title in Google.  Sometimes they will be available by the author's institution.  Otherwise, they can sometimes be obtained through Interlibrary Loan

Fresno State Theses and Dissertations

1. Start at the library homepage
2. Search for your department, for example civil engineering
3. Click the option for Thesis under Format
4. Theses and dissertations will be in print in the library, and those completed in the past few years will have electronic access as well
