Naxos Music Library is the most comprehensive collection of classical music available online offering over 500,000 tracks of Classical music, Jazz, World, Folk and Chinese music. It includes the complete BIS, Chandos, Hänssler, Hungaroton, Marco Polo, Naxos, Ondine and selected titles of other leading independent labels, with over 1,000 albums added monthly.
Two streaming resources are available. You can link to them through the Library's online catalog. You may use these resources on or off campus. If you are off campus you will need to provide your email username and password to log in.
Smithsonian Global Sound includes more than 35,000 tracks in the categories of American folk, blues, bluegrass, old time country, American Indian, world, jazz, spoken word & sounds and children’s music. It includes the published recordings owned by Smithsonian Folkways Recordings and the archival audio collections of Folkways Records, Cook, Dyer-Bennet, Fast Folk, Monitor, Paredon and other labels.
