Google Art Project Applies Google's Street View technology to the experience of visiting a museum. Google has partnered with (for now) 17 of the world's top museums, including the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy; the National Gallery in London; and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Visitors may navigate the site by selecting a particular museum from the home page. They can then virtually explore the museum by walking through the galleries and selecting particular artworks to view more closely.
